OUR MISSION IS TO BRING THE GOOD NEWS OF THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS IN JESUS CHRIST TO THE WORLD.
We are members of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod here in Bishop, California. We proclaim the greatest news this side of heaven each worship service - where there is forgiveness of sins there is also life and salvation. Every Sunday we gather to be enriched by the promises of God in Word and Sacrament. As Christians we serve the local community and folks near us. People from all walks of life and many different countries visit our church. They come to the Eastern Sierra and the Owens Valley for beautiful views, photography, hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, skiing, and much more. In the midst of all of this activity we offer you the opportunity to worship the Creator and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Please join us! We look forward to meeting you!

Oh how easy it is to get lost! With our cell phones and iPads, our 24-hour news cycles, there’s virtually nowhere to go for a moment of peace and quiet. That’s where Grace Lutheran comes in. We provide a holy place of respite here in the Owens Valley and Eastern Sierra.
